Trade Convoy Attack New London - Dublin Jump Gate
A mixed convoy of Bretonian and Liberty Trade Vessels was attacked by a number of ships in the vicinity of the New London - Dublin Jump Gate. This convoy was on route to the Edingburgh system and included 4000 units of medical supplies. Two vessels were destroyed including the transport carry the medical supplies. The attacking craft engaged their cruise engines and escaped before BAF or BPA ships could intercept them. There is a great deal of confusion as to the identity and quantity of the attacking vessels due to the inexperience of the transport crews.
Since the attack a coded message was recieved from a leading member of the Corsairs stating that the attacking vessels were not of their identity and while the consider cargo vessels as legitamate targets they do not attack medical supplies or hospital ships that clearly display recognised medical logos.
The BAf have improved their response reaction to threats in this area.

Subject: Reported Trade Convoy
We regret to inform you that despite keeping watch for any medical supplies circulating throughout our region of space none have come up. All supplies that we have seen have been almost entirely based around ship maintenance, and we believe that the Gallic fleet withdraws further in to its territory to resupply on expensive supplies such as the aforementioned medical equipment and medicine. We suggest that this attack may be the work of the Mollys, especially due to its proximity to the Dublin gate.

Sir
Thank you for your report and te Commander has allowed me to pass on our latest intelligence on the Medical supplies stolen at the Dublin Jump Gate.
This officer tasked our operatives to track cruise signatures through Dublin. The signatures took two paths, the first being into Londonderry while the second terminated at the Omega 49 Jump Hole however while Molly signatures were identified we found no other signature identifing any other national vessel. Therefore we conclude that it was probably a concentrated Molly action.
